"Thanks for coming to vote, thanks for electing us!
A big thank you to Lidwine and her team for setting up the GEC and for all their hard work over the last two years!
Here are a few projects for the coming year
- Friday live! (that's the Friday meetings here: guests, dabates, etc.
- Adopt a European (that's our way of helping the foreign pupils feel at home here
- Poster competition in October for Europe day
- Europe day in May
- Contribution to the Bwhat?! festival (a multi-talent show by the members of the GEC)
- And the big project for the year: a twinning with the lycée of our Check friends!
We will keep the members regularly informed of how each project is progressing via the GEC blog and with regular announcements at Friday live! sessions.
The Management Committee will be working on finding sponsors... we need money to achieve our projects!
We will be selling coffee & cookies in the FOYER EURO at every morning break to help the pupils in Première to go to the PEJ in Aix-en-Provence. Please let the teachers know this.
Are there any ideas or comments? Please send all your suggestions to the GEC blog, and do not hesitate to talk to me or a member of the Management Committee!
See you next Friday, same time, same place: the Check pupils will describe their lycée in Prague and share their thoughts on a possible twinning between our Lycée and their Lycée... I hope it will happen and that we can organize a trip there!
Remember our moto: "Euro d'être!"
Keep smiling, buy!"
